LAST WISH

Hello friends,

I recently announced a terminal diagnosis due to cirrhosis of the liver. Because I'm also diabetic, on dialysis, and suffer persistent wounds I am not elligible for a transplant.

Many people have asked what they can do for me. I only really want to accomplish one task: spreading my mother's and grandmother's ashes in San Diego Bay. My grandpa Bill was a sailor. His ashes were spread there and their wishes were to join him.

My days are numbered, and I am taking it as a gift.. in the sense that I have enough advance notice to manage my affairs and leave the world with a light heart.

This will be an adventure considering the above ailments I am also half blind (I cannot drive even with corrective lenses) and I am easily winded.

Most of my medical costs will be covered by insurance. I will make this trip mid week to save $ but I will need help with airfare, accomodations, a burial at sea charter, and a transpo.

Any help you can provide will be greatly appreciated. This is literally my last wish. Otherwise, my only final desire is to see you all again one more time.
