Chromebooks for my classroom

So, I teach in an exemplary inner city school, Longview Elementary, in a spectacular district, Osborn School District.  What isn't spectacular or exemplary is having to build my schedule around student technology.  While it is great to have access to technology for my kids to extend and personalize their learning with, it is not so great to have to share said technology.  It means I have to build my learning schedule around when I get access to chromebooks and ipads.  That is not ideal for me and my kids.  It means learning and teaching is chunked instead of fluid.

To change this situation I'd like to have my own set of chromebooks.  My funding request would give me 15 which, given that I had 28 students last year, would enable half my class to be on a device at a time.

My request would buy 15 chromebooks, 15 licenses, 15 wireless mice, 15 headphones, and allow for shipping expenses also.
