Help save Zoey

This morning our beloved Zoey started to show signs of a Colic, we watched her for a few hours and decided to call out our vet. After further investigation we have found out her Large colon has flipped over her small colon and her best chance is to go to the NCSU vet school and will possibly need surgery. Zoey is one of Oakwood stables riders most beloved school pony and is loved by so many kids. This was a huge unexpected expensive for our farm and we’re asking for any help possible and to share Zoey’s story. Zoey was from a severe neglect case and and came in with her mother and a few other horses about 10 years ago, she was nursed back to health and then brought into our program where she has change the life of so many kids, brought endless smiles and joy, taught kids how to ride for the last 6 years and worked with special needs children.
