Support Shaun's Long Road to Recovery
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Cherri Walz (Gramps). I'm reaching out as an old friend of mine SHAUN JOHNSON, has been badly injured in an accident. She almost died but by the grace of God, she lived. She had very major injuries and still might lose her leg. Unfortunately, she's been in the hospital since June and has depleted her savings on keeping up with her bills outside the hospital.
She's working towards recovery, but as we all know, the bills still keep piling up. She's been unable to work since June and her son has been paying her bills up until last month when he also was injured at work and is still in the hospital waiting for multiple surgeries. Those of us that grew up with Shaun know what a giving person she is. I ask that everyone that knows her, please try to contribute something so she can keep her stuff, her place.
She has a long recovery so I'm trying to raise at least $10,000 so that she can recover without being stressed out. We are looking into getting her help in various other ways, but it is a very slow process as everyone that has ever dealt with the state knows. This is a very vulnerable time for Shaun. Her family has helped as much as they can. She has a wonderful family support but she needs our help as well.
Those of us who went to Camas High School have always been a community within itself and I'm hoping that we rally around Shaun and let her know how much we love and support her. Anything will help, even if it's just five dollars. Thank you, and I look forward to seeing everyone that knows Shaun's name on here. I know she is very embarrassed about this, but I told her this is what we have to do because anyone that knows Shaun knows that she could be a little prideful when it comes to asking for help. Especially our classmates from Camas High School because I know that we all have a very giving spirit about us. That's what made our class so special. Thank you in advance.
