Support Makayla's Road to Recovery

You all might know Makayla as your esthetician, your hilarious coworker, your book-recommending expert, or just a sweet friend. She's my girlfriend, and I'm so grateful to have been with her the past year.

Right now, she needs your support, because the upcoming months will be challenging for her. Christmas night, she was driving home from an evening with family and was in a car accident. As a result of the accident, her arm is broken and she received a traumatic brain injury. Doctors are currently optimistic about her recovery, but it will be months before she is back to being herself.

She has been sedated since the accident, but I'm sure that once she is awake, she will appreciate all the encouragement you have. Thank you to those who have already reached out in support.
