On Sunday, April 12, 2015, the family was burning an old pile of paper trash outside in the yard, when something exploded and burned both Laura (mommy) and Obi, 3 years old. They both received 2nd and 3rd degree burns. Obi got the worst of the burns, and has been sent to Shriner's Medical Center in Sacramento. He is being released today (4/14/15), but will have to stay in the Sacramento area until a doctor gives the okay for him to go home. Both Laura and Nartell (daddy) are with Obi and his two younger brothers in Sacramento, which means they will both be missing work for an indefinite period of time. We all know how a sudden, tragic event can affect our lives, and how most of us are not financially prepared for big emergencies. This fund has been set up to help with expenses while Obi is in the hospital recovering. Any amount you are able to donate; large or small, will be much appreciated by the family! Thank you and may you be blessed.
