Hi, my name is Angie Herrera. I am starting this GoFundMe for my sister, Pathy Hidalgo.

Yesterday, 09/25/24, our girl Luna was struck by a car that was going beyond the speed limit in a residential area in San Leandro (Adason Dr and Halcyon Dr) and was severely injured. Sadly, the medical bills have come out to more than $10K. She will sadly need her leg to be amputated.

We are so sad. Anyone who knows Luna knows she's a sweet big dog with a beautiful personality and will sadly have a hard time adapting to having no leg.

We ask and thank you for any help as our whole family is sad and feeling really helpless with everything going on. Thank you!
