Find a cure for Crohn’s disease

My name is Maddie Price, I’m a senior at Basha high school and we have a project called Basha Gives Back where each of us does something to give back to the community. I’m raising money to put towards finding a cure for Crohn’s disease, which is a disease that affects the gastrointestinal tract. My mom has had Crohn’s disease for over 20 years, and i’ve been able to see the awful impacts that it can have on a person’s life. I’d hope that eventually a cure is found and while 1000$ might not do a whole lot, anything is helpful. I’d really appreciate any donations.
