Help Me Keep My Kids Safe

I'm a single mother of two kids, Raven (7) and Brylan (3). I live in a low-income based apartment which has been broken into 4 times within a year. On top of that, we're living in an unsafe and dangerous community. I’ve had windows busted out, shootings very close to our windows, even had someone shoot right through my handicapped son’s window-and we still have the bullet hole to prove it. On April 18, 2015, my son Raven was in the crossfire of a young man who was shot and seriously injured. We’ve been home at times and someone attempted to enter into our home while we were sleeping and thank GOD I heard them. I’ve had to call and get new front door locks 3 times due to these attempted robberies. Brylan, who has cerebral palsy, can’t walk, talk, nor is able to move on his own has had most, if not all, of his medical equipment stolen or damaged due to these break-ins. Despite everything that was stolen my main concern is the safety and well-being of my family.
