On 9/11/2014 at 6p.m. A life changing event occurred to Christine Kwiatowski, this is her story.
Christine has sufferred from back and leg pain for a long time. There were many trips to the doctor and the emergency room to help deal with the pain. Little did Christine know, but every diagnosis she had up to that point was wrong!
On the night of September 11th 2014 Christine would hear a diagnosis that was shocking, but also life saving. Christine was diagnosed with Philedalphia chromosome-positive acute lymphoblastic leukemia. This disease is a blood cancer that will require a bone marrow transplant along with intense chemotherapy along with at least 5 years of very expensive medication.
The Kwiatowski family includes Christine, her husband Andrew, and daughters Kaitlyn and Madilyn. The Kwiatowskis were supported by both Christine and Andrew up until now. Christine will not be able to work for quite some time, and her sister Cheri has volunteered to take FMLA in order to provide the care necessary to help Christine through this ordeal.
