April 24th 2011, will always be a day that changed my life forever. On that Easter Sunday our twins were born with angels wings. Born premature and too young to survive.
The day Caiden and Kaylie passed we were hit with a wave of emotions, countless amounts of people coming to say goodbye. At the end of the day we were faced with the one thing we did not want to do. The hospital wanted us to send our children to the morgue for the night. Luckily one of our nurses told us to keep them right there with us and take our time saying our goodbyes.
We had one beautiful night with our angels, we counted fingers and toes, gave them countless amounts of kisses and the following morning we had to say our goodbyes.
This device gives parents the one thing that if it wasn't for our nurse we wouldn't have had...TIME!
The pain of losing a child is something that can not be described and its a pain that stays with you. This device may not take that pain away but it gives parents of still borns an opportunity to say goodbye.
