This is our boy Max (Maxwell). He’s almost 2 years old and is the sweetest cat you could ever meet. He purrs nonstop, loves to snuggle with anyone who will let him, and brings so much love into our home. A couple days ago we noticed he just wasn’t acting like himself, and today things took a turn.

The vet found that something is stuck inside him and he needs emergency surgery to remove it. We’re moving ahead with the surgery because we just want Max safe and feeling like himself again.

The estimated cost is $2,600, which is a lot for us to handle right before Christmas. We weren’t expecting anything like this, and it’s been a stressful and emotional couple of days.
