Dear friends, family, and community angels of April Stucker,

We are calling in as much love, healing, and financial support for April as possible as she navigates another chapter of her cancer journey.

In March, April was diagnosed with Leptomeningeal disease, a metastatic complication of the breast cancer she received treatment for in 2021-2. Though this has obviously been a very difficult diagnosis to be faced with, April has been as graceful, present, optimistic, and strong in her determination to live as can be. She is meeting the challenges of each day with incredible humor, patience, and stamina.

Traditional Western medicine does not consider Leptomeningeal disease to be curable, and thus has little to offer April toward healing. As such, April has sought guidance and treatment from a Holistic, Integrative Oncology Specialist, an Oncology Acupuncturist, and a Therapist with a background in supporting clients with cancer diagnoses. These practitioners have offered insight, optimism, comfort, and treatment plans for preserving April's life. We are so grateful to have such smart and supportive practitioners on April's team, and the financial burden of these services is significant. For example, the integrative Dr. that April hopes to continue to meet with bi-monthly costs $1200 per appointment, acupuncture $150 per treatment, therapy $250 per session, not to mention the cost of the herbs, supplements, and additional treatments being prescribed by these specialists to both neutralize the cancer and keep April otherwise healthy along the way. She needs as much financial help as possible to be able to continue receiving these services, as her insurance will not cover any of the cost and at this point, her life depends on it.
