My goal has always been to help others and provide value in any way. I started telling my story on TikTok because I wanted to showcase the knowledge I've acquired from the mess that was given to me. I wasn't a Realtor when I purchased this home, and one of the reasons I became an agent was to help other people avoid the situation that I'm in.
The previous owners hid the structural failure, and when I attempted a lawsuit, I hired the wrong attorney to recover the damages. Long story short, I am now responsible for paying $32,000 out of pocket, for making my first home purchase a safe place to live. I was so proud of myself to have purchased a home in my late 20s; not knowing this actual home is the most complicated and stressful situation I've ever encountered.
I will continue to educate others on my story and would love to be a resource for anyone wondering about my journey. If I don't know the answer, I will find out because I'm dedicating my career to helping others achieve their goals through real estate. It's heartwarming to know that I have people following my story and encouraging me to create this gofundme page. I'm beyond grateful to the people that have been watching, that have written uplifting comments, who have shared their own stories, and that choose to donate money to fix my basement. If I can help one person avoid the pain and heartbreak I've been through, I'll have done what I've set out to do.
