Journey to London

For my entire life, I've been obsessed with movies.  While the other children my age were outside playing and enjoying being young, I sat inside in my blanket fort, enamoured by the world of films.  My enthusiasm only grew and by the time I reached adolescence I knew that my place in life was in the film industry.  Unfortunately, being the boy from rural PA I am, I lack connections, resources, and money.  After working my way towards a scholarship to University of the Arts, I worked tirelessly to forge my skills as a film maker and fell even more in love with film making.  By the time I left, I was a member of an award winning web series called "NewVHS" and also made own award winning short film "Winter of White Clay" to show for my hard work.  After I graduated I moved straight to New York and spent a great deal of time on set working as a lighting technician, getting to light an interview with one of my idols, Brian De Palma.  In between my time on set, I made another short film "G.F.R", which was a modest success.  Despite my being so active in the New York production scene, I feel it's time I move on; as I have a new, exciting opportunity with a connection in London. While I'm in London, I will be spending six months writing two feature scripts, which we will complete and take to LA.  There we have connections with writing agents who can see to the scripts being bought and I can further my career as a writer.  For my trip, I will need around $2500 to contribute to my budget, which will be a difficult amount to earn in the two months I have before I go.  So all donations will be immensely appreciated and rewarded with the following.

For those who donate $50 or less, you will receive a video shout out from myself.

For those who donate $100-$150,  you will receive an original pen and ink sketch from myself, framed.

For those who donate $200 or higher, you will receive an original short story written by myself and original cover art, drawn by myself.  Professionally printed and bound.

You will receive these within six months of your donation.

It is my hope this trip will be the beginning of a new and exciting career in the industry and with your help, I can make something great out of this amazing opportunity.
