Fizgig's Medical Expenses

We adopted Fizgig a year and a half ago and knew she had experienced some trauma before we adopted her but never really imagined it would have been so physical because she never showed signs of suffering until recently.

We took Fizgig to the vet because she had been limping for a few days and it was steadily getting worse. She has always been a weird climber and never really ran just hopped like a bunny. 

Xray imaging shows that Fiz either has a deformed right femur or experienced severe trauma as a kitten and the tip is now most likely floating. Her left leg was broken and has since healed and seems to have a bone chip/deformation where the ligament attaches on the left tibia. She also has left hip dysplasia. She is in a severe amount of pain and luckily we saved some pain meds from when she hurt her paws last year. We were also given some anti inflammatories by the vet but only enough for 4 days so she will need to see a vet again shortly.

We are currently waiting for more news from the radiologist and vet we saw today. We are unsure what her future looks like regarding surgery, physical therapy, medication etc but right now we are trying to cover the cost of her xray and first appointment. We are expecting more bills and will adjust the fundraising total as needed.

Max and I have decent jobs but all of our funds go to student loans, housing, and trying to pay off debt. We could really use some help as we know the medical costs will stack up shortly and are trying to not accrue more debt as my student loans are devastatingly high as it is. 

Please if you can spare anything we would appreciate it. We plan on selling some things to avoid using credit cards but right now anything helps. Thank you.
