As many of you know, I've spent the last 4 years dealing with major lower back problems, including 2 surgeries in the past year after my L4-5 disc fragmented into my spinal nerve twice.
For the last few months the pain has been back, and it turns out there is nothing anatomically wrong as far as things that can be treated by surgery. I have been diagnosed with "Post Laminectomy Pain Syndrome", which is better known as "Failed Back Surgery Syndrome ."
Unfortunately, I have permanent nerve damage that causes almost constant disabling pain and has had me bedridden since mid-January. The good news is there is a fix! It's called a spinal nerve stimulator (sometimes known as a spinal cord stimulator) that has tremendous results for patients like me, especially if handled quickly.
Double unfortunately, Pat and I are already in a tremendous amount of debt from not being able to work last year and were already trying to move in order to stop the financial bleeding. This is where you come in! I need your help to meet my out of pocket maximum and allow me to get my life back.
I finally see a light at the end of this deep, dark tunnel, and I appreciate any help you can provide to literally get me back on my feet <3
