Hi, my name is Tom and I fixed my gut health by making my own naturally fermented Kimchi.
After three rounds of antibiotics last year, my gut health was pretty messed up and was causing me some health problems.
At that point, I started researching natural ways to fix your gut and found the large body of scientific papers proving that fermented foods aid digestion, reduce inflammation, improve immunity to pathogens and aid the gut-brain axis. It does this through restoring a balanced gut microbiome. Kimchi is one of the best options, with a wide range of different "good" bacteria species that destroy and outcompete "bad bacteria" that can colonise your digestive system and cause health problems.
I experimented with a lot of different Kimchi recipes and eventually found one that was simple, natural and had a positive impact on both my gut and overall health.
The recipe combines fresh vegetables (ginger, garlic, cabbage and carrots) with non-iodised salt and paprika, all naturally fermented, making it completely vegan, dairy-free, nut-free, sugar-free, and preservative-free.
Now, I'm sharing the Kimchi so other people can fix their guts too.
