Extensive Winter Damage repairs at Elmvale Sales Barn

This year we know everyone had a lot of problems with the winter snow and the ice storm, We were no exception.

This winter the ice and snow took out the front area of our beloved Sales Barn and destroyed the front vending and dining are, our electrical room, office and storage area.

During the destruction we lost the whole restaurant area and all of our equipment, fridges , freezers, hood and suppression system as well as all of the contents of the dining area.

This area also housed our many electrical panels and boxes for the property that took on significant water damage and so on from the barn roof cave in. Many of these units had to be moved and many areas of the remaining barn and property had to be rewired to connect with the panels and new system. And in a 100 year old barn there are always many surprises which had to be overcome and fixed to proceed with demolition.

Unfortunately due to the cause of damage we do not have any insurance assistance and I am asking the public, our vendors , our customers, our family and friends, to assist in anyway they can to help us through this time.

My family has always been happy to help and donate their time , property, items and so on to support our community and friends. At this time we ask you to do the same to help us get our beloved barn and Flea Market back up and running again.
