If you know Stafford you know he's a man who, after being bashed, would write, "It's surprising how little it hurts to be punched and kicked several times in the face..." and try to shrug it off. You also know that he's the last one on earth who would ask for a gofundme page. How many of us have donated to campaigns because Stafford was out there promoting them, helping people who really needed it?
Today Stafford really needs it. Insurance will cover some of the treatments he needs and there's a possibility that the victims compensation fund will help out - I'm not holding my breathe for that and medical treatment delayed just gets worse. I don't know anyone with an extra $15k in their back pocket but I know a hell of a lot of people that could spare $15 without thinking twice. Stafford's always been there for the community, it's our turn to be here for him.
