With Pilot's first surgery seeming like a success (despite some scares), it's now time to move on to the next one.

His second surgery is scheduled for mid-November.

The surgery is expensive and the recovery is a long one. We're in for a not fun time; but we got through it once! I have confidence that we can do it again.

However, we did receive incredibly generous assistance from our loved ones the first time around that definitely softened the blow of the cost of the surgery.

I am so grateful to all those who donated the first time around. If anyone would like to offer anything for this go-around, it would be incredibly appreciated all over again. Either way, please just keep him in your thoughts and wish him luck in his procedure.

My boy is on his way to being 100% again. I can't wait to see him run without pain again. ❤️
