Hi everyone,

Last night my car was broken into and one of the windows was completely shattered. Along with the damage, all of my climbing gear and my school equipment were stolen.

I’m a student, and I worked extremely hard to afford my car and the gear I rely on. This wasn’t just stuff, it was equipment I use for school, for getting outdoors, and for staying grounded and active while balancing school and work.

The situation is especially urgent because:

• The window needs to be fixed immediately so I can drive safely and get home, it’s winter in BC and I live far away.

• Window replacement alone is very expensive.

• Replacing my stolen school and climbing gear is financially overwhelming right now.

This loss has hit me at a time when I don’t have savings to fall back on, and it’s putting real strain on my ability to get to school, work, and continue the activities that are important to my mental and physical wellbeing.
