Hello, I am creating this GoFundMe on behalf of my grandmother (aka Mama), Teresita Crews.
About a month ago, she finally fulfilled her dream of moving back to the Philippines after spending 20+ years in the USA helping to raise her many grandchildren. On Wednesday we got a call saying that she was taken to the hospital due to a bad fall in her home. She slipped and fell on her hip, hit her head, then was unable to get back up. X-rays showed that she had broken her femur & pelvic bone, which will require surgery. Surgery is tentatively scheduled for this Saturday, February 11, 2023.
We are asking our friends and family for help raise money that will to go toward her medical bills and recovery. At this point, we are not sure how much we will need overall, but we will take all the help we can get.
