One of our dearest friends',  Phil Yoakum has nearly lost everything due to the recent flooding on the Platte River just outside of Omaha NE.
Phil is a super great guy...who would do anything for anybody. He  just moved into his modest river front  cabin less than a year ago...this was his dream place. Then it gets hit by a 200 yr flood.  An ice dam on the river caused over 4 ft of ice cold river water to rush into the cabin in the middle of the night this week.......Phil and his son barely escaped to safety. (See attached news clip) The river has risen more and it's believed that that the whole cabin could possibly be totally submerged. He has yet to be able go back due to current road closures.
Anything would help to replace items lost and rebuild. Very down to earth humble  guy as you see from the video.
