Fix it in Post - A Senior Thesis Film
Donation protected
My name is Rebecca Chiafullo, and I am currently a senior Film and Television B.S. major. This year I will be directing my senior capstone film!
I have been in pre-production for the past few months, fine-tuning my script and getting together a team of talented individuals to make Fix it in Post. In the Spring, the film will be shot, edited, and prepped for festivals.
I hope to take anyone interested in this production along the journey through social media, which is where you can witness how your support will assist me in creating this film (Instagram: @fixitinpost2023).
Fix it in Post is a comedy about an older man named Frank who edits himself to get a match on LonelyFish.com (65+ dating website). He is an outwardly confident older man but has struggled to achieve the womanizer lifestyle he desires due to his appearance and way of living. His photo edits turn into reality, and he uses it to his advantage in a series of funny gags. He tends to push things too far in many aspects of his life, which often gets him into trouble.
This will be my most extensive production yet, so I won’t be able to cover the costs entirely alone. This is why I am looking for donations to make this film come to life. I have and will continue to put money aside for this project because this is something I have been looking forward to since high school, and I am very passionate about it.
Whatever is donated will strictly be going to the costs of making this film happen. Some things the costs will cover are props, clothes, set dressing, travel, locations, equipment, festival submissions, cast, and food. I want to give creative freedom financially to other students working on my film in their niche areas so they can focus on their craft.
I will show future employers/collaborators this film which is why it is a crucial part of stepping out into the industry post-grad.
If you donate, you will get your name in the credits of the film, as well as super cool points from yours truly ;)
Thank you for your support and time!
