My dad, as many of you know is a veteran, who lives and travels in his van. He has had a rough time since he and my mom divorced, and now his van is his lifeline.

He injured himself skiing around Christmas and hasn’t been able to go do what he loves since, which has led to some depression and frustration:

Today, the first day he was planning on going back up to the mountain to see if he could ski, he got in a car accident that damaged the van severely. Fortunately, nobody else was involved, and he and his cat managed to get out with only a head bump and a slam to his already hurt shoulder. 

Which brings me to my ask: the tow truck alone was $1400, and I maxed out helping with that, so anything you can do to help us get his van fixed and him back on his feet would be beyond appreciated. The sooner he can move about freely, and get to his doctors appointments, the better.
