Fix Dan and Gwen's Car: A Musician's Plea

I am T. Willi Took and I am asking the local musician family for a little help.

Not for me, but for Dan and Gwen Voorhies. You know how tuff it is being a musician. Most the time we can just barely make enough to scape by. When an emergency pops up, it seems like the world is against you. Well that is where Dan and Gwen are right now. The shift mechanism on their VW Bug has malfunctioned and left them without transportation. Unfortunately the cost of repair is not in the budget. Now they do have wonderful friends helping them get to their gigs. I am hoping as a group we could all pitch in and see if we can get their car back on the rode.
