Fix Chicken Noodle (Noodz)
Donation protected
Everyone deserves a chance at their very best life. Even cats others consider throwaways. Chicken Noodle was found in Hays County, stealing chickens from someone’s backyard. She ended up at a local shelter and was eventually transferred to a rescue. She’s got a loving home to finish out her life, but needs a little help to enjoy those golden years.
Over 10 years of outdoor living has been rough on her. So far she’s been diagnosed with a urinary tract infection and a blood born pathogen that’s causing anemia. This is thankfully treatable with a long course of antibiotics. On top of that, she’s got at least two broken teeth and an as yet undiagnosed tummy issue that’s giving her chronic diarrhea. She’s got chronic arthritis. Last and not least, she’s got early stage kidney disease. Any one of these medical issues is challenging. Together it means Noodz has a steep hill to climb.
Lucky for Noodz, she’s got awesome humans in her corner. The amazing team South Austin Cat Hospital are helping plan out treatment for her tummy, and will pulling those bad teeth.
We are aiming to raise $2,000 to cover the cost of dental surgery, an ultrasound, the gastric test panel, and initial medications. Your help means Noodz will be comfortable and pain free as she goes into her retirement.
Donations in excess of the goal will go towards ongoing care and diagnostics in her senior years. Donations way in excess of goal will go towards a fund to help other cats in Austin get access to top level medical care.
Donations may be made via GoFund Me, or by calling the vet directly at 512-910-2287.
Thank you so much for helping this princess. She deserves to finish off her golden years in peace and comfort.
