Priscilla's Study Abroad Fund

My name is Priscilla. I am a senior at Florida International University, studying Organizational Communication and Marketing.

This Summer, FIU's Communication Arts Department is offering their students an invaluable opportunity to study abroad in Spain! We will visit 5 cities, meeting and working with executives of top companies and government officials to learn about the strategies of effective communication in the European Union. In other words, I'll get to put my books smarts to the test! I would also be gaining 9 university credits (which is exactly what I need to graduate!!) Here are all the details about my program!

The program is 3 weeks long and costs about $6,000. This includes program fees, course fees, travel, housing, food, and personal expenses. There is only 1 spot left and I am determined to fill it!! I have to place my deposit of $775 by the end of this week and pay for my flight next week in order to secure that I'll be flying with my professors. Needless to say, IT'S CRUNCH TIME!

I can't tell you how much I want to go on this trip. I've never traveled outside of the U.S., much less ever studied abroad before! This would be the experience of a lifetime and the most amazing way to end my undergraduate studies in FIU. Not to mention, an amazing global experience to add to my resume!
