FSA Fundraiser - Wall Art!

Fitzharrys School Association (FSA) are launching a brand new fundraiser for 2022-2023…

The FSA wants to help make Fitzharrys School an even brighter place to be with the installation of some fantastic new wall art! Inspirational and informative wall art in schools can have a transformative effect on students; it is a great way to raise pupils' aspirations as well as raise a smile.

Working closely with the school leadership team, key areas have been identified around the school that would greatly benefit from a new look with wall art displays. This will help bring school walls to life, inspire learning and add a huge WOW factor, making these spaces more inviting and invigorating places to be.

This year, we aim to raise money for wall art for the Humanities department, and next year we are hoping that FSA fundraising allow us to bring a similarly spectacular transformation to the English department.

Our developing plans for Humanities are to have bespoke, humanities-themed wall art that will wrap around the walls of the department’s two-storey staircase (see photo for a general example), as well as art on the steps themselves, which will totally transform the area. To this end, we are hoping to raise £1000 on this Go Fund Me to kickstart our fundraising goals this academic year.

We know that this is a particularly difficult time financially for most people, and want pass on our sincere thanks to you all for your generosity in donating.

As a thank you, and to spread a little holiday cheer, for every £5 you donate, the FSA will put an entry with your name on it into our Christmas hamper draw. Our hampers are filled with seasonal goodies and are a great way to start the holiday season, so don’t forget to add your name on any Go Fund Me donations if you want to be in with a chance of winning it! The deadline for entry into the Hamper Draw is Thursday, 15th December, with the draw being held on the morning of Friday, 16th December.
