I didn't think I would have to ever write these words so soon, but Fitzgerald, my 1 year old Frenchie suddenly passed away on Tuesday March 12, 2019. He was going in to get upper respiratory surgery for his brachial airway syndrome. There were complications, but by some miracle he made it through all of them. As I was arriving to pick him up from the hospital, something happened where Fitz stopped breathing and was unable to be resuscitated. I am left not only without my emotional support animal and best friend, but now I have a ton of vet bills. It makes me really uncomfortable asking for money or support of any kind in general, but with the additional emergency surgery and 24 hour care in the vet ICU, I need support. I was so blessed to have him for even a short amount of time, he taught me so much about myself. He brought me and everyone he met so much love, laughter, and joy.
