Fitzgerald Is Fighting!

While I know there are many awful things happening in the world, I’m asking that you take a minute to hear and share Fitz’s story.

The scrappy little cauliflower eared pound puppy is truly in the biggest fight of his already tumultuous life. Although Fitzgerald’s past is an unknown, there is enough to know it was not good. Since adopting him in January of 2021, I have vowed to make sure every day since then is his best day ever. He is an old soul who deserves to keep adventuring and living the life and he always deserved.

Fitz became terribly ill Monday night and has been in ICU since. He has pneumonia and the doctors are doing everything they can. The vet staff has been phenomenal but realistic with me that in order to help Fitz keep fighting he needs to be kept in an oxygen chamber. This will supply him with enough oxygen so that his body can focus on healing.

The cost of this care is mounting. It is killing me to have to ask for this type of help but I have to at least say that I tried for him. If you can donate, please know that every penny will go to helping Fitz fight to get better. And if you can’t, it is equally as important please just send him some good energy. I will be sure to return the good karma tenfold.
