My father is one of the hardest working and dedicated people I know. He has been serving the Jacksonville community for 23 years as a custom tailor at Rosenblum’s. 

When he is not there he is most likely serving Our Lord at St. Nicholas Russian Orthodox Church in Palm Coast as a Deacon where he has been since 2001. 

His dedication and loyalty to others is apparent to all that know him, especially his family and closest friends.  He is a devout husband and sole caretaker  of my mom who has suffered  from epilepsy since she was 19 years old.

He is always there for the people he loves when they need him most, and now he needs us.

Almost  two weeks ago he went to the hospital for a sore foot  only to find out it was much more serious than that. Upon entering the hospital he had no idea what lay ahead.

He learned  in just a few hours that he had an 80% blockage in his heart and practically no circulation to his left foot. His heart has been operating on 25% capacity and his leg/foot infection is severe. 

Having already been in the hospital for a week and a half, it is clear that he won’t  be 100% himself anytime soon.

His hospital bills and the extended  at-home care that he will require once released is financially overwhelming and any support his friends and family can offer would help him recover with the proper care and time he needs.

The road ahead for Fitz will be long and hard but it’s one we feel he should be able to navigate with God’s help and the love, support and prayers of his family and friends.
