Fitted Prosthetic Leg.

Hi, my name is Misty and I am a 41 year old former contract nurse from Piedmont sc. I have spent the last few years taking care of family members with cancer and recently lost my sister to breast cancer a few short months later In December of 2020 I started having seizures and had to leave my job because I can’t drive. In April of 2021 I was diagnosed with takayatsu arteritis  which is extremely rare and started having multiple complications. Since oct of 2021. I have had 2 heart attacks and 4 surgeries on my foot which resulted in me losing my right leg feb 17 2022. I do not have health insurance and was given a charity leg however it is only temporary and I have to come up with 15000 to pay for my permanent prosthetic. Unfortunately I’m still having seizures and had more heart stints placed may of 2022 so I’m not allowed to go back to my job at this time. I am not big on asking for help but have always been there when needed for anyone that has asked so I’m going out of my comfort zone and asking for support. I know times are tough for everyone so anything is appreciated. Those that know us well know that my husband is disabled as well so Income is very tight. Thank u in advance.
