Children's Development Organization

As most of you know, I spent the first five months of 2014 traveling about South East Asia, visiting for the second time.  After the third month, finding myself a bit in the need for a soul revitalization and a new path (and quite frankly feeling unfulfilled and selfish living in 4 star hotels amongst such poor nations and people), I chose to volunteer some time and money at a children's organization in Siem Reap, Cambodia.  

The Children & Develpment Organization's main objective is to provide healthy living conditions and quality education for 25 extremely impoverished and deserving children and orphans from the Cambodian countryside.  

The time I spent with these marvelous kids and the selfless directors, along with the experiences in the village changed my life, gave me a wake-up call and are exactly what inspired me to create my brand, FITNUT.  I owe this organization a massive thank you and this is why I am starting this fundraiser - to give back and say thank you. 

I am traveling back to the village outside of Siem Ream, Cambodia on January 5th of 2016 to personally thank the directors and visit the children again.  I hope to be able to bring to them a substantial amount of monies to make a real difference for these kids.  As you can see on the homepage of the CDO's website, just $30 will feed all 25 kids for the day.  Please visit the site for more information about the children!  Our donations, together, will make a world of difference.
