Fit 4 A Cure
Tax deductible
Fit 4 A Cure is a student-led initiative that helps raise money and awareness for a non-profit organization called Project C.U.R.E. We have been featured on the Daily Herald, NCTV 17, Metea Media, and Teens Talk.
Since 1987, Project C.U.R.E. sends medical equipment to underprivileged countries such as those in Africa and India. Project C.U.R.E. has 7 warehouses throughout the United States that work hard on a daily basis to package medical supplies. They also have hundreds of healthcare professionals that travel to communities in need to provide medical treatment and train those dedicated to serving others.
Every $25 donated is equivalent to sending 1 big box full of medical supplies overseas! By donating, you would not only be supporting Project C.U.R.E in its mission to deliver lifesaving medical equipment and supplies to hospitals in the underprivileged world, but you also will be helping the Fit 4 A Cure team grow to create better service opportunities for its community.
The co-founders of Fit 4 A Cure are juniors Zara Baharainwala, Ananya Handa, and Puja Teakulapalli who attend Metea Valley High School. At Fit 4 A Cure we host free virtual fitness and dance classes to spread the importance of public health. We are also offering volunteer hours to everyone that can be earned by participating in Cards 4 A Cure - this is a new part of our organization where individuals can make cards/postcards which will be sent all over the world with Project C.U.R.E.s medical supplies. We have already received 600+ cards from our community and from all over the world. In essence, all our events spread more awareness about Project C.U.R.E. and allow individuals to earn service hours.
If you would like to learn more about us, earn volunteer hours, or join our team check out our LinkTree below. Thank you in advance for your contribution to this cause!
