Fishkill Family Needs Help After Tragic Fire

Losing your home to a fire is tragic any time of the year. But to lose it five days before Christmas is even worse.

That’s what happened on Friday here in Fishkill, New York, when Giselle Malone suffered a terrible loss as a kitchen fire gutted their home on Beech Court.

Miraculously, there were no serious injuries from this horrible fire. But the family’s home will be uninhabitable for the foreseeable future, and their holiday preparations quite literally went up in smoke.

I’m hoping to raise $5000 to provide this family with some measures of comfort this holiday, so they can enjoy gifts and a nice meal, and more importantly, share the knowledge that their community supports them during this terrible time.
