Fisher Future Educational Expenses

Julie Erin Thacker Rhodes (age 37) passed away peacefully at her home with her family by her side, after a long battle of cardiac complications on Friday, April 10th.  Julie accomplished remarkable things throughout her life; graduating with a Nursing degree, becoming a foster parent and partnering with many missions and local ministry initiatives.  On June 4th, 2005, Julie married the love of her life, Chase Rhodes. Together on April 19th, 2010, Julie and Chase welcomed their son, Fisher Rhodes, into this world. More than anything, she loved being Fisher's mom. They often took family vacations to explore the outdoors all over the United States. Although their time was brief, it was a lifetime of love.  Julie leaves those to cherish, in her legacy of love, a devoted husband, Chase, son Fisher (age 10), loving parents, Gary (Kristi) Thacker and Denice (Glenn) Funderburk, siblings: Jeremy (Rachel) Thacker, Jordan (Sherry) Thacker; Hunter Johnson, Kelley Thacker, Jayden Thacker; parents-in-law, Eddie and Kay Rhodes; grandfathers, Marvin Thacker and Franklin (Vickie) Poe; she also shared a special relationship with her cousins Brittany Roberts and Brett Burns as well as her nieces and nephews, Raelynn, Teagan, Sloane, and Arlo. She was blessed with the love from many other aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Julie is preceded in death by her grandmothers: Bernice Thacker and Peggy Hulsey. We, the family of Julie Rhodes, wish to express our sincere gratitude for your words of comfort and expressions of love. Your multitude of prayers and kindness have sustained us during this difficult time. We are eternally grateful.
