Fishels' Mission Trip to Haiti

Michaela and Chris are going to Haiti this January!
From Michaela: My mom and I are hoping to go to Haiti. We will be building houses for people who were affected by the earthquake in 2010. This will be my first time on a mission trip. I really want to go because I want to help other people around the world. I also want to see new places and see other kids who are just like me! I am 10 years old and I hope that we have fun and help people around the world!!!
From Chris: The children of Haiti captured my heart twelve years ago when I took my first mission trip. I have served there several times since, and, at one time, hoped to be a fulltime in-country missionary in Haiti. God led our family in a different direction, but a piece of my heart has always belonged to the Haitian children. When Michaela told me she wanted to go on a mission trip and wanted to go to Haiti, I was thrilled. I can't wait to share this experience with her. I know she will be deeply impacted by this group of people who look like her but live in such a different world. She will love to see the children's bright smiles, contageous giggles, and joyous play. I believe she will be struck by their overwhelming poverty while inspired by their hope in a God who loves and saves. I know I will be impacted, too. I always return from a mission trip with a renewed sense of the Lord's work in the world and a renewed passion to be a part of that wherever it is happening.
We need your help. Our trip will cost $3,000 which includes travel, lodging and meals for the week. The money is due by November 1. If you'd like to, you can support us in any of these ways:
1. Pray for us and the people of Haiti.
2. Donate through this GoFundMe account.
3. Pay us to work for you. We both are hard workers and would love to do jobs for you to earn your financial donation. We are good at yard work, house cleaning, babysitting, washing vehicles, and organizational/office work. If you're interested in this, please let Chris know.
