Many of you remember the handsome New York bred Fish Trappe Road. He won the 2016 G3 Dwyer at Belmont Park. He has raced 63 times in his career, with 11 wins. Recently, however, he has been very far from the winner’s circle. And, very far from home.
Fish Trappe Road was sent to Puerto Rico in 2020, and as his career declined, Caribbean Thoroughbred Aftercare started working to get him retired and back to the mainland. We are thrilled to share that he has been retired, and will be heading to Connecticut and joining our heard at Racing for Home. A huge thank you goes to Kelley Stobie and Shelley Blodgett of CTA for making this possible.
This fundraising campaign is for the costs that will come with caring for Fish Trappe Road once he arrives in CT. We are expecting plenty of vet bills to address any and all health needs. We anticipate that he will need attention for ulcers, and will need assistance with hay and feed.
We will keeping everyone posted on Fish Trappe Road’s progress through social media, and we are so grateful for your support!
