Please help create a scholarship for local girls to learn about environmental sustainability and get involved in their community. Your donation will go toward the total cost of one local girl's tuition, this will include: lodging, meals, environmental education in the form of hurricane rebuilding and mangrove restoration, and an absolutely unforgettable experience. The tuition stimulates the local economy and offers the students a chance to immerse themselves and give back. I want others to get the chance to get involved in such a life changing program. It is so important for young people from the community to get involved in Fish For Change to create a lasting legacy of local ambassadors with a mutual passion for the conservation of their home and the wellbeing of the people.
Fish For Change's mission is to use fly-fishing as a platform to make the world a better place by uniting a diverse group of students in wild fisheries where they engage in a variety of initiatives that promote Connection, Education, Conservation, and Exploration. Students integrate with local communities and work together on local and global initiatives, including community development projects, mangrove restoration, education based projects with local children, community art projects, trash clean ups and more. I want to ensure that a young person from the local community can join this amazing initiative.
