Fi's Fight Against Breast Cancer

Hi, my name is Lisa and Im fundraising for our incredible friend and colleague. Fiona, has recently been diagnosed with breast cancer. Just last week Fi received the devastating news, and she is already heading into her first surgery this week to remove the cancer. This will be followed by radiation treatment and in February, a full double mastectomy with reconstruction.

Even with private health insurance the cost are overwhelming. Fi and her family are facing out of pocket expenses of close to $10,000 for the first surgery, pre scans and appointments, with additional $30,000 for the surgery and reconstruction early next year., and that hasn't taken in account her radiation therapy, meds, scan and continuing appointments ect.

Fi is a devoted wife to Mick and Mother to two school aged children, and she's the type of person who's always there for others. Wether its lending and hand, offering support or simply brightening someones day, Fi has the biggest heart.

Now its our turn to support her.

This diagnosis has put their family plans on hold and added significant financial stress on top of the emotional and physical challenges their facing.

We want to help Fi and her family focus on her recovery - not the mounting medical bills.
