Firwood Bootle Cricket Club is a community club reliant on support from its members and the local area. During these difficult times, our members have gone above and beyond to help maintain the grounds, dedicating the time they have to maintenance and cleaning to keep the club pristine.
However, It is unfortunate that our outdoor netting area has succumbed to damage during this period and in order to restore it, members have decided to club together and run a collective marathon to raise money.
On the 13th June approx. 10 members will run a minimum of 5k each to cover a collective distance of 50k (just over a marathon). Both Men and Women participating, of all abilities, have just under 10 days to prepare themselves for this event.
