Help Me Walk the Stage for My Master’s Degree

Hi everyone, my name is Alexandria — and I’m five classes away from earning my Master’s in Instructional Design & Technology at Full Sail University in Florida.

Graduation is early next year, and while I’ve attended all of my past graduations in person, this one is much further — and more expensive. I’ve never been to Florida, and I don’t want to accept my biggest accomplishment yet — my master’s — through a Zoom screen. I want to walk across that stage, move my tassel in person, and finally celebrate how far I’ve come.

I didn’t get an open house for high school or college. Times were tough, and things just slipped through the cracks. But this time, I want to do something for me — this trip is my version of an open house. It’s how I finally honor everything I’ve poured into my education.

I’ve been in school nearly my whole life — only taking a 6-month break before starting my career last year. I’ve worked multiple jobs while in undergrad, walked and biked to work in the winter, and gave everything I had to invest in my future.

What the Funds Will Cover:

My final goal is to raise $3,500–$4,000 to help make this trip possible. That feels like a lot to ask for, and it’s not easy for me to do — but I know I can’t manage it all on my own. Your support would go directly toward:

Airfare & transportation

Lodging (Airbnb) for the week

Rental car

Food & daily expenses

Graduation materials (cap, gown, etc.)

Any remaining funds will go toward loan payments or future education

My dream is to one day create a Super Bowl commercial — and this degree is part of that journey. Every step counts, and this one feels especially personal.
