The First United Methodist Church, Eastpoint Youth and Children provides afterschool services through "The Nest" for 120+ students throughout Franklin County; Apalachicola, Carrabelle, and Eastpoint, Florida.

The program is essential to our community. Our parents depend on us to provide a safe, nurturing place for their children after school and all day during school holidays. We provide parents and students with peace of mind that their children are safe and cared for on those days. We provide our students with afterschool snacks, homework help, academic and personal enrichment activities, and various outdoor activities.

We have recently received notice that our funding will be cut by $210,000.00. As a result, we have had to cut 30 days of service to our students. We need your help to provide services for these days.
