Hi, my name is Ashley puga, I am starting this fundraiser for my friend and colleague Jamya Finkley. She is one of the sweetest people I know, has not had it easy, but still somehow always manages to keep smiling and making everyone around her as well. She had found out in mid 2022 that she was pregnant, and this being her first child was extremely scared but excited. Her baby girl has been the forefront of all her decisions since then, and she has been having some issues medical wise. Jamya had decided to go to the doctor to get them checked out, to make sure her and baby would be alright. She unfortunately received news earlier this week that she herself had cancer. She has what’s called lymphoblastic leukemia, and is undergoing bone marrow retrieval as of 3/08 to see how far along it is. They will also deliver her baby by the end of the week 03/10 as well so they can start treatment on her immediately. She is only 20 years old and has so much life to live for not only herself, but also her baby girl. Please donate, help us raise money for her to help pay her medical costs for her treatment and baby in this extremely difficult time for her and her family, anything helps. This is a very difficult time for Jamya and she will be out of work for about 2 or so months for treatment, is what the doctors are estimating. I just want her to be as stress free as possible and not have to worry about covering the cost of treatment/stay and to help ease the financial burden a little.
