Cameron and my sister, minutes after he proposed to her in early 2020.
Cameron’s purpose in life is to save lives. He has actively been rescuing people over the last thirteen years as a lifeguard with the San Diego Fire Department and as a seasonal firefighter working for San Diego County Fire Authority. His next ambition to finish his paramedic license has been put on hold as now, he is in the fight for HIS life.
Cameron while video chatting with my sister - like many undergoing medical hardships, Cameron is unable to have visitors in the hospital due to Covid-19.
My sister’s fiance, this real-life hero, has been diagnosed with thymoma, a type of cancer, which is threatening the nerve that controls his diaphragm. Cameron is facing chemo, surgery, and many months to recovery, where he may not be able to work for several months.
How You Can Help this Real-Life Hero
To help this real-life hero, SHARE this campaign on your social media and with your friends and family. If you are able, please donate to help them through these difficult times.
Funds received will go toward medical bills, including the visit to the ER, three overnights in the hospital, as well as standard bills like groceries, and rent. Cost of living in San Diego, where Cameron and my sister live, is more than $2,500 a month. This campaign will help to ease the financial burden on this couple, as they undergo this extreme emotional hardship.
Thank you for your prayers and support!
