Help Me Equip Myself to Save Lives

Hi, I’m Alex.

I’ve recently qualified as a First Responder on Scene (FROS) first aider and have started volunteering with Suffolk Lowland Search and Rescue – an incredible team that helps locate and assist vulnerable missing people.

With my new skills, I’m trained and ready to respond to medical emergencies—whether as part of a search and rescue mission or just as a passerby in everyday life. But here’s the challenge: while I have access to life-saving equipment during official callouts, I don’t currently have my own first responder kit for when I come across emergencies in day-to-day situations.

A fully stocked responder bag costs around £2,000. That’s a big ask, but it includes all the essential equipment I’ve been trained to use – from trauma dressings to airway management tools and more.

Your donation will help me buy my own kit so I can be ready to act wherever and whenever I’m needed. If I raise more than the target, any extra funds will go toward replenishing used supplies to keep the kit ready for action.
