Hi, my name is Savannah Saldivar. I’m 25 years old, a full-time student, and I work full-time as an in-home caregiver. I’m also the first person in my family to attend college, which is something I’m incredibly proud of.
I come from a blended family of six siblings—both of my parents had three children before they met, and then they had me. Growing up in a big family taught me independence, responsibility, and the importance of working hard for what you have.
Throughout my college journey, I’ve been grateful to receive scholarships, financial aid, and support from my family. Those resources have helped me get this far, and I don’t take that for granted. At the same time, I’ve been paying for most of my expenses on my own while balancing full-time work and school.
As I get closer to graduation, the final costs are starting to add up—caps and gowns, announcements, and a college ring, which alone is nearly $600. While I’ve done everything I can to prepare, covering all of these expenses at once is more than I can comfortably afford.
I’m asking for support to help cover these final costs so I can fully celebrate this milestone I’ve worked so hard to reach. My goal is to raise $2,000 to help ease the financial pressure during this important time.
Any support, whether it’s a donation or simply sharing this, truly means so much to me. Thank you for helping me reach the finish line.
