First father day celebration accident
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Priscila Jaccoi. My husband’s name is Matthew Jaccoi. We are raising funds to be able to keep our family afloat in the next 3 months until Matthew is able to return to work. We’ve had a really tough year but we try to stay positive for our little one, Edward.
Our Love Story:
We met in 2015, we were friends for a while and whenever we hung out there was always this feeling in the air like you get when you’re with your high school crush, but we suddenly lost contact. And almost like a miracle, we reconnected in 2019 to find out our apartments were only a couple blocks apart. We started living together in 2020, when my lease was up. We got a house and started to plan our wedding. We got married in July 2022 and in in October, we had given birth to Edward Joseph Jaccoi. Named after my father and Matthew’s late father.
How the Unfortunate Events Happened
In November 2022 one of our dog had an emergency surgery, we finish paying it off around the end of January. In February 2023, Matthew had a work accident which limited his income being on light duty. Our small savings was used up, leaving us to live paycheck to paycheck. Things started to look up when Matthew was back to full duty; we started to get ahead of our due dates for all the bills, but it was short lived. Matthew was invited to his first Father’s Day event, a weekend getaway of camping and riding with his friends. He had an accident that left him with a radial fracture and dislocated wrist, that required emergency surgery to relieve pressure the bones were putting on his tendons, a threat to his career. Due to the physicality of his job, he won’t return for at least 3 months when he’s fully recovered. Leaving us with the payments of the house, remaining hospital bill from the delivery, and the new hospital bill from his accident. We’re asking for help to cover the surgery and stay afloat together as a family until Matthew can return to work. We always keep a smile on our face for our little one, he is the most important thing to us. Matthew is the most loving father, he loves spending time with our boy and chatting with him at the end of his day after work.
We love our home, and even though we don’t have many friends or any relatives living near by, we are happy. It’s hard to stay afloat right now but we keep our heads up and our best spirits.

Matthew in the ER

We thank you from the bottom of our hearts
***Update*** 08/02/2023
Matt had a fall in the bathtub a couple days ago, he hit his arm and the metal plate in his arm failed and bent, his wrist slightly dislocated again. He is going into surgery again this Friday 08/04/2023, we hope everything goes as well and he can recover soon from this one.
Thank you so much everyone for all the support and donations! Keep praying for Matthew’s recovery. Love Priscila
